Position Overview: HeyTutor has partnered with school districts in Kahului and is seeking dedicated In-Person Tutors to assist students with Math during and after school hours. Location: Multiple locations available for your convenience

Compensation:

• Pay range: $19-$24 per hour, depending on experience (determined at the time of interview)

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person tutoring support to students in ELA and Math
• Actively engage with students to address learning gaps and reinforce key concepts
• Supervise and mentor students to foster a positive learning environment

Requirements:

• Previous tutoring experience with a strong aptitude for working with children
• Proficiency in English and Math instruction for elementary and middle school levels
• Minimum education Some college; however, candidates with an Associate degree, Bachelor's degree, or Master's degree are preferred
• Comfortable working in a classroom setting and collaborating with school staff
• Ability to pass an in-person background check (FBI-DOJ) and provide a negative TB screening

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 5 hours per day
